The Indians did it - Pak and conspiracy theories

The economist correspondent writes about Islamabad and Pakistan politics in his post, The Indians did it.

What would we do without this kind of patronizing analysis from globe trotting saviors of the empire? I guess the Brits are still waiting for us to come crawling back to them so that they can save us from the maneaters, Jim Corbett style. I am jealous that he gets to make statements like

- Islamabad is boring (duh, its made for you)
- Pakistanis are conspiracy theorists (maybe he needs to come to American to see Elvis and Roswell)

Still, it is poignant, well crafted and somewhat funny, especially if it is read like Dave Chappell would when he impersonates an older white man.
