Hinglaj - Pakistan's Hindu pilgrimage


As the devastating cyclone Yemyin batters the Makran coast and wreaks havoc on Karachi, I found this amazing photo-journey to an important Hindu shrine (Hinglaj is supposedly where the head/sindhur of Sati fell after being dismembered) about 80 miles from Karachi along the Makran coast. It was a reminder to me of the improvised coast of Baluchistan and the strange beauty it still holds . . . .
